Macy’s Department Store
The store is located at the corner of 300 South and 400 East (300 West). It has been a Macy’s since it opened in 1953. The building was originally constructed as an office building for the Deseret News newspaper. Macy’s now operates two stores in Utah. One is located in Draper, UT and the other is in Ogden, UT.
The Main Street Theater

The Union Pacific Depot
The Union Pacific Depot is a historic train station located at 801 Main Street in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. It was built by the Chicago and North Western Railway (C&NW) between 1881 and 1888 to serve as its main depot in Salt Lake City. In 1988, the C&NW merged with the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad (ATSF), forming the Union Pacific Railroad (UP). The Depot is currently used as a museum operated by the Utah Arts Council. It houses exhibits about the history of the area, including Native Americans, pioneers, and railroad workers.
Ralph Lauren Store
The Ralph Lauren store is a flagship location for the brand, located at 300 South Main Street in downtown Salt Lake City. The building was built in 1924 and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since August 23, 2000. It was designed by architect John W. Parkinson.
The building is considered to be among the finest examples of Beaux-Arts architecture in the state. It is three stories tall and has a limestone exterior. Inside, the first floor contains retail space while the upper floors contain offices.
Sugar Factory
This company was founded by William Henry Miller and George F. Wright in 1876 as the Sugar Refining Company of America. In 1880, it became a subsidiary of the American Sugar Refining Company (ASRC). In 1886, ASRC changed its name to the American Sugar Refining Co., Inc. In 1899, the company acquired the rights to manufacture sugar from molasses. In 1907, the company changed its name again to the American Molasses Corp.
In 1911, the company began producing crystallized fruit juice under the name of “Fruit Juices”. In 1921, the company changed its corporate name to the American Can Co. In 1925, the company purchased the assets of the United States Steel Corporation, which included the American Can Company. In 1929, the company changed its legal name to the American Can Company. In 1935, the company acquired the New York based Coca Cola Bottling Works.

The Loft is a boutique hotel located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City.
